Screenprint of Petrova Gora Monument

Yesterday i made this screen-print of the Petrova Gora Monument. The Monument was designed by Vojin Bakic and opened on 4.October 1981. The last years there got more and more of the metal stolen, which was covering the outside of the Monument. The photo i used for the print, i took in 2011.

The fallen Angel

Actually i wanted to see the monument some days before, but we did not find a parking below 5 euros. So we went on to meet a friend 15 kilometers away. What was supposed to be a coffee-break, became a 5 days stay. The second day i wanted to start the car, but it did not want. So today, we were towing my car to that town, because there is the only place nearby which can handle my size of car. And the time it was in the workshop, i had a walk around.
And that's what i found! The Obelisk looks clean, even restaurated. The sculpture which was before on the top is now next to it. The arms broke of, one leg missing, the other leg has a cut. It is a fragment of a sculpture by Antun Augustincic.
My car is driving again! And tomorrow we will be on our way back to Berlin.

Candles for Bogdan Bogdanovic

The last working day of my workshop in Mostar, we went again on the Partisan graveyard to light some Candles. The wind was to strong, so we couldnt realize our Idea.... but somehow we managed to make something! With respect to Bogdan Bogdanovic! Hvala Protmajstor!

....Bruce Lee is again around us, and he is not even alone.
Theres a long story around this monument, it was unveiled, got stolen, again unveiled .......i hope i will maybe get the whole story these days!
Today i finaly had to see it, and as you can see, he was not alone. "This one is from messing, the one they stole was from gold"  the roma-girl told me before shouting "photograph me, photograph me.... !!"
